Solar farms offer amazing advantages, but have some ecological impact.
Solar power has got the potential to considerably change the way the planet gets its power. Sufficient solar power falls on a 100-square-mile section of the southwestern United States to power the complete nation (See Reference 1). While solar power is among the world's cleanest kinds of power, intends to develop utility scale solar farms have raised concerns about possible environmental effects.

One person's beauty is another person's eyesore. For some, solar energy panels evoke positive feelings, even if set in a natural landscape. For other individuals, the picture of a solar panel invading a pristine wilderness environment is gut wrenching. It is mostly a matter of opinion.
