Solar Powered greenhouse Heating
Russell has a unique and efficient system for warming their greenhouse. On sunny days, the machine takes extra temperature through the peak of greenhouse that would typically you should be vented outside and makes use of a water to air heat exchanger to move this this heat to a sizable water tank. Heat kept in water tank provides temperature toward greenhouse on cool evenings and cold cloudy days. Equivalent water to atmosphere temperature exchanger that stores heat can be used to circulate temperature towards the greenhouse.
In Russell's North Carolina climate, the device has been doing quite well and is capable weather cold and cloudy times on kept temperature.

The greenhouse is optimized for cold weather developing with steep glazing in accordance with non glazed areas well insulated.
The lover brings warm air from the peak through temperature exchanger (in bench). Water region of the temperature exchanger delivers warmed water into tank (behind the wall surface).
Heat storage space container is a 275 gallon IBC tote that is housed in the yellowish expansion towards greenhouse - its well-insulated.
